As part of the project I examined ancient ornamentation of Persian carpets and combined it with contemporary ornamentation found in graffiti.
The starting point for the project's research was a 1968 vest, designed by the fashion designer Roji Ben Yosef.
The project (both Coat and Dress) won first place in a fashion design contest sponsored by The Ben Yosef Family and Shenkar.

The Vest - 1968
Roji Ben Yosef
The starting point of the project was a vest from Shenkar's archive, designed by the fashion designer - Roji Ben Yosef. The prints were inspired by a Bedouin rug owned by Roji.
Roji's use of her own Bedouin rug inspired me to examine the Persian rugs owned by my family.
