I chose to focus on the double life that gay priests lead in the Catholic Church:  "Priest at the Vatican by day; homosexual in bars and clubs at night."

According to my research, based on the book "In the Closet of the Vatican" by Frédéric Martel, the Catholic priesthood became a haven for many gay men, approximately over eighty per cent of the priests working at the Vatican are gay.

This project was part of my first year assignment to create a collection that is inspired by a fashion house of our choice: My choice was Balenciaga. I choose this theme since Christobal Balenciaga drew a lot of inspiration from the Catholic Church in his collections.
